With this victory, Gujarat has accumulated 16 points from 12 matches, which nearly secures their spot in the playoffs.

Hyderabad, aiming to secure the top position with a win today, suffered a humiliating defeat. Following this loss, Hyderabad has dropped to third place with 14 points. Captain Pat Cummins was the highest scorer for the team with 19 runs. Gujarat's bowlers, Jason Holder and Kagiso Rabada, each took 3 wickets, playing a crucial role in dismantling Hyderabad's batting.
